On Tuesday, 20 January 2026, the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Doctrine Command (FOC NAVDOC), Rear Admiral BK Effiong, paid a courtesy visit to the Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command (AOC LC) of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal AA Sule, at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.

The visit was undertaken to further strengthen inter-service cooperation and sustain the existing cordial relationship between the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Air Force, particularly in the areas of logistics support, joint operations, and capacity development.

Speaking during the visit, the FOC NAVDOC explained that the engagement was a familiarisation call and formed part of his strategic interactions with key military stakeholders following his assumption of command.

He also highlighted the critical need for continuous collaboration and alignment among the Armed Forces of Nigeria to promote harmony through the standardisation of doctrines.

The visit ended with the presentation and exchange of souvenirs, as well as group photographs, reflecting the mutual commitment of both Services to enhanced cooperation in support of the Armed Forces of Nigeria and national security.
