Headquarters Naval Doctrine Command (HQ NAVDOC) conducted the final phase of the midshipman pre-commission Training from 13 July  to 14 August 2026. The Training was aimed at equipping the midshipman with the requisite professional knowledge, skills and practical experience necessary for effective performance of their duties as future officers of the Nigerian Navy.

The training was successfully conducted in accordance with the 2026 Nigerian Navy Schedule of Event with the midshipman actively participating in the various lectures, practical sessions and other scheduled activities which were concluded successfully on 14 August 2026.
