The Headquarters Naval Doctrine Command under the superintendence of the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Doctrine Command Rear Admiral Shehu Usman Gombe has conducted observer duties at the recently concluded Exercise Crocodile Lift. This is with the aim of assessing the Exercise and recommending actions to better improve the Exercise. The Exercise which was in line with the CNS Strategic Directive 06 and the series of strategically significant exercises in the Gulf of Guinea, was conducted from 9 – 10 Oct 25. The Exercise was flagged on 8 Oct 25 and organized in the framework of an amph ops to evaluate the operational readiness and interoperability in the planning and execution by an Amphibious Force in a hostage taking situation. The Exercise was conducted within the AOR of the WNC. The Exercise was combined operation between the NN and French Navy with the NA and other security agencies as invited guests.
